I haven't always been in real estate, yet my unique background provides you with the best in representation, advice and negotiation skills. Prior to becoming a realtor, I worked in the hotel and restaurant industry in business management and public relations. I have been an independent business owner with a pizza franchise, and perhaps most directly related to my current career was the three years I spent as a conveyance secretary and bookkeeper in a law office.
Now, with more than a decade in the real estate industry, I would like to use these skills to help you with your needs. It is my marketing experience and an insatiable appetite for learning that have allowed me to achieve three designations and several awards in the industry as well as being elected as Divisional Director of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board.
I am constantly upgrading my real estate and legal knowledge through programs with the Real Estate Board to ensure you have access to the most current information. I have also completed courses in Marketing and Urban Land Economics in addition to my designations as an Accredited Buyers Representative, a Relocation Specialist and an Accredited Staging Professional.
When not working in real estate or learning, I enjoy spending time with my husband Bob, son Rob and our dogs Ozzie and Andy. Volunteering in the community is also important to me - I am a Rotarian at heart - and I look for spare moments to garden, cook and golf with friends.
